Challenges in Staff Scheduling

I’ve been noticing increasing challenges in our staff scheduling, particularly during peak seasons. Just recently, we struggled to cover shifts adequately, leading to service delays and employee burnout. I’m curious how others in hotel operations are managing staff schedules effectively without compromising service quality.

That sounds familiar! We started using a rotation for our peak periods which lets everyone get a break while still covering all the shifts. It’s made a big difference in morale; maybe give it a shot?

In my experience, using a scheduling app has been a game changer. We can see peak times ahead of time and plan rotations accordingly, which really helps reduce burnout. But I also think it’s essential to be flexible; sometimes personal requests need to be accommodated to keep morale high. @edmund_p96, have you tried any specific tools yet?
