Enhancing Our Guest Interaction Skills

I’ve noticed that our front desk staff could benefit from some additional training ling guest complaints effectively — a few role-playing sessions could really boost their confidence and improve satisfaction scores. Has anyone implemented similar strategies, and what were the outcomes?

Role-playing can definitely help, especially in handling tricky complaints. I’ve seen success with setting clear scenarios based on real issues we’ve faced — it’s more engaging that way. Have you thought about how to tailor those sessions to specific situations your staff usually encounters?

I totally agree about the value of role-playing for complaints, especially since it’s such a common challenge at the front desk… We did a session last quarter, and just practicing with different scenarios really helped boost the team’s confidence. Maybe consider recording some sessions for feedback, too? @ianreed22, have you thought about how often you’d want to do these training sessions?

That’s a great idea! Having staff role-play real scenarios could really help them feel like they’re prepared instead of facing complaints like deer in headlights… Maybe @victor_p23 could share what specific scenarios worked best in their sessions?
