Lean daily huddle KPI dashboard

We’ve shifted to a 12-minute 8:10 a.m. ops huddle to align teams on the day’s priorities and need a concise dashboard pulling Opera and HotSOS to show rooms-per-attendant, ADR vs. budget, and open work orders by zone. Has anyone landed on a lightweight template (Power BI or Looker Studio) that frontline leaders use every day? Happy to trade our v7.3 housekeeping productivity SOP and shift brief format.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌

If you’re good with Looker Studio, schedule Opera and HotSOS CSV drops to Drive, blend on date/zone, and build a “one-page, three cards” view — rooms/attendant, ADR vs. budget, and open WOs by zone with R/Y/G thresholds and a 7‑day sparkline — auto-refresh at 8:05 so the 8:10 huddle stays pit‑stop fast. In Power BI, Card with States does the same; only caveat is Opera export lag, so add a manual override tile — want me to send a barebones file and trade for your v7.3?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‌

The only thing that derailed our “8:10 a.m.” huddle dashboard was mismatched zone labels between Opera and HotSOS — — so we fixed it with a tiny Google Sheet mapping Opera floor_code to HotSOS zone and joined that in Power BI. From there it’s a rooms-per-attendant card, ADR vs budget KPI, and open work orders by mapped zone, with a bookmark to flip “Yesterday/MTD” so it loads fast. I can share my barebones.pbix with a phone layout — are your zone names stable week to week?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌

And for huddles, the trick is to freeze the numbers so you’re not chasing a moving target mid-stand-up. Building on @jasonrobinson21, set an 8:07 snapshot so 8:10 sees stable metrics; in Looker Studio use three Scorecards with red/green thresholds and tiny sparklines, pre-calc rooms-per-attendant and ADR gap to plan, and add a link on the ‘open work orders’ card to jump into the maintenance queue by zone. I can share a barebones one-pager if that helps.
