Misunderstood Room Preferences

But had a guest request a ‘high floor’ room, and I accidentally gave them the penthouse suite with a stunning view. They walked in, glanced around and deadpanned, ‘I said high, not high-end!’ Moments like that remind me why I love this job, but they can definitely keep us on our toes. Anyone else have funny mix-ups like that?

That sounds like a classic mix-up! I once had a guest ask for a ‘quiet’ room and ended up giving them the suite next to the elevator. They laughed it off at least! Anyone else have stories like this?
