We wired one bedside outlet to stay live while the rest is on key-card power, and added a tiny β€œalways on for CPAP/charging” label β€” front desk calls dropped a lot. The β€œsmall gesture” is making that outlet the one with a nightlight port so guests find it fast; just brief housekeeping so warmers don’t sit there all day. We jokingly call it the CPAP socket.

It’s amazing how a simple touch can affect guest experience… Once, we added a quick note next to the key card slot that explained the power system, and our front desk saw fewer confused calls. A little transparency goes a long way β€” sometimes the intricacies of energy management might feel complicated to guests.
